On Sunday, September 17, there will be an additional six-hour planned power outage to upgrade Penelec equipment in the region. The outage will affect customers in the vicinity of E. Market Street, N. Brown Street, N. Dorcas Street, and 3rd Street in Lewistown, PA. The outage is expected to last from 8:00 AM – 2:00PM. In the event of an unforeseen emergency or inclement weather, the outage will then take place on Sunday, September 24 within the same time frame.
